I made it to Dunedin last night! *fanfare* Even in the cold rain that hasn't really stopped since reaching New Zealand, Dunedin and the University of Otago are really beautiful.
Today, as it is my first day here, has been quite busy. I've signed up for the three classes I plan to take: archaeozoology, web development and design, and sociology of New Zealand. I've also opened up a bank account. It was a lot easier than I thought! Signing up for classes...not so much. The long and short of it is that you stand in line to register first for your sheet so you can register and then for paper (NZ word for class) approval. But once I actually got to where I was supposed to be and in the right line, it was pretty easy.
The flat is quite nice, and my room is huge! I'll post pictures once everything is put away and it doesn't look so incredibly messy.
I really want to post some pictures, but Picasa isn't behaving right now. Maybe tomorrow!
